Flood Alleviation Works, Rectory Hill, Amersham

Mark and his team have had a busy start to the new year undertaking flood alleviation works at Rectory Hill, Amersham, which regularly suffers from flooding causing road closures and stranded vehicles.

Works are currently underway to construct a new storm water link to redirect excess rain / surface water through new underground chambers and pipes. Works will include connecting to an existing storm water catch pit and laying a new 375mm pipe run to a new catch pit to alter the direction of the water flow.
