S278 works in association with a new care home on Hockliffe Road, Leighton Buzzard.

The works comprised of access widening, carriageway resurfacing, new dropped tactile crossings, new highway gullies, carriageway buildouts with high visibility bollards, lowering of existing underground services, and refreshed road markings.

Works were carried out in multiple phases to allow access to the site and other utility works to be completed.
