Quality
NC & JC Construction operates a quality management system that has been certified by the British Standards Institution to BS-EN-ISO 9001:2015; Certificate No: FS655343; Scope: Civil Engineering Contracting. This fully certified quality management system applies to all company operations and to all projects that the company carries out no matter what the size of the works are.
Our Quality Management System is supported by our Quality System Procedures, these detail how quality will be achieved on individual projects and set out the roles and responsibilities to ensure quality elements are executed.
Health & Safety
NC & JC Construction operate a ‘self-declaratory Health and Safety System’ that meets the requirements of ISO45001, we manage this system by audits and reviews.
Our Health and Safety Management System is complemented by a comprehensive set of Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work data sheets, which highlight hazards associated with our individual activities. These are designed to protect staff and the public from risk, by raising awareness and promoting avoidance of risk.
We carry out additional site risk assessments and adhere to a thorough set of HR policies which are in place to guarantee the wellbeing of employees, sub-contractors, and visitors, in accordance with Health and Safety legislation.
We recognise the importance of nationally recognised schemes and are registered with Constructionline Gold, Acclaim Accreditation SSiP, CHAS and Highways Passport.
Environment & Sustainability
NC & JC Construction operates a ‘self-declaratory’ Environmental Management System that meets the requirements of ISO 14001:2015. We acknowledge our responsibility to protect and enhance the environment by minimising the impact of our business activities. We stay informed of current legislation and technology and actively encourage our employees to recognise their environmental responsibilities and to behave in a conscientious manner toward the environment in which we operate.
We regularly review our Environmental Policy and procedures to ensure that standards are being met and that we remain up to date in respect of legal requirements and good practice. This is supported by our Sustainability Policy and Carbon Reduction Action Plan.
