Social Value

As a family run business, we are committed to working collaboratively with a supply chain and partners who share our values. We want to impact positively within the communities in which we work, through maximising the economic, environmental and social benefits of our construction activities.
We aim to build and maintain good public relations, working with the communities and local authorities around our civil engineering projects. Through community engagement and working together we ensure that community needs are understood. ensuring the long-term success of each project.
NC & JC actively get involved in the community by employing in the area and creating local supply chain opportunities, directly benefitting the local economy. Our buyer ensures that local businesses are given the opportunity to quote for any materials and plant that may be required. We buy from both local independent suppliers and local branches of national suppliers.
We maintain a minimal fleet of the right vehicles for the jobs we undertake, which in addition to employing and buying locally, results in a lower carbon footprint.
