Highway widening and improvement works at Millfield Lane, Caddington to construct five new vehicle passing places as part of the S278 package of works for a new retirement village.

Works included site clearance, construction of ditches, forming new passing bays, extending existing bays, widening the road width, widening and improving access to the junction at Dunstable Road, resurfacing areas of the existing carriageway and new road markings.
