CHURCH ROAD, PENN

Works to improve surface water drainage at Church Road, Tylers Green, Penn to alleviate flooding issues for local residents.

The improvement works included site clearance, construction of a 47.5m deep borehole soakaway constructed through the base of a new 2.5m deep chamber, breaking out and relaying of kerbs, removal and reinstatement of hedges and reinstatement of surfacing to match existing specification.

The works involved liaison with the Environmental Agency and were completed for Balfour Beatty Living Places under the Buckinghamshire CC Term Maintenance Contract.
