At NC & JC Construction we specialise in infrastructure works, highway works under Section 278, 38, and often 106 Agreements, together with associated drainage works under Section 104 Agreements, all to local authority adoptable standards

We have our own traffic management department for highways work, our staff are trained to NRSWA and in accordance with Chapter 8 of the Highways Manual. All our plant operatives are trained to a minimum of CPCS / NPORS and all site staff hold CSCS, SMSTS, SSSTS, EUSR and are first aid trained as a minimum, where relevant.

We offer traffic management services from inception to completion. From the small-scale development of estate access roads to signalised junctions, central reservation splitter islands and roundabouts, our highway and infrastructure engineers have the knowledge, expertise, and experience to quickly assess viable infrastructure solutions.

Our S278 works can include applying and obtaining road space, site investigation with hand excavated trial holes, and / or using vacuum excavation, co-ordination and supervision of statutory service provider’s works to re-route existing connections, site clearance, traffic and pedestrian management, surface water drainage, footpath and road construction, kerb replacement, traffic signal installation, street lighting installation, road marking and road signage.

We work with the local residents and businesses at the earliest stages of our projects to minimise disruption. Where relevant we attend local council meetings and provide letter drops to those directly affected by our works.

NC & JC Construction have undertaken the management of earthworks and drainage infrastructure for a variety of small, medium and large scale residential, commercial and industrial developments from the feasibility and planning stages through to the design and construction.

We solve problems associated with all aspects of drainage and flooding. We install foul and stormwater sewers to new and existing developments, providing drainage construction, repair and maintenance. We are approved to carry out connection works into Thames and Anglia water sewers.
