The scheme comprised of highway improvements, carriageway resurfacing, and footpath extension works in Aston le Walls relating to the new HS2 route.

Works included pedestrian management, vacuum excavation, construction of traffic calming islands, ducting, carriageway surfacing, new bollards and signage.

Works were completed under two-way traffic lights provided and managed be NC & JC.
