EMERSON VALLEY FOOTBRIDGE, MILTON KEYNES

Works to repair a timber footbridge effected by decay and the paths leading up to the footbridge at Wolfscote Lane, Emerson Valley.

Works included removal of footbridge from its bearings, repair of timber beams, replacement of damaged tie bars and handrail posts, installation of additional handrail, reinstallation of footbridge and repair of tarmac paths.

Footbridge was reinstalled under 2-way traffic lights.
